Community Rules
Last updated: October 22, 2026 · Version 1.0
urCircl is for making clear, signed records of agreements between people who already know and trust each other. These rules keep it that way. They apply to everything you write or share on urCircl — messages, notes, names, profile and social links, and photos. They work alongside our Terms of Service (see Section 8, “What you may not do”).
1. What's not allowed
Don't use urCircl to:
- harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate another person;
- post hateful, discriminatory, or violent content;
- impersonate someone else or misrepresent who you are;
- publish another person's private information, or share content that isn't yours to share;
- make false statements about another person, including a false claim that someone didn't pay;
- manipulate Track Records — for example with fake accounts, agreements with yourself, or arranged agreements;
- send spam, run a scam, or use urCircl for gambling, illegal lending, or any illegal purpose;
- record agreements for prohibited items (see Terms §8).
2. Report something
If you see content that breaks these rules, report it in the app:
- A person: open them in Your Circle and tap Report.
- A message: press and hold the message in the conversation and tap Report.
Pick a reason and add any detail. Reports are reviewed by the urCircl team; the person is not told who reported them. A message you report is hidden from your view right away. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts that break these rules. You can also reach us any time at support@urcircl.com.
3. Block someone
You can block anyone from their profile in Your Circle. Blocking is a full block: you and that person can no longer start new agreements, send each other messages, or see each other on urCircl. It works both ways.
Blocking does not delete an agreement you've already signed — that record stays in place, and either of you can still settle it, record a payment, or export it, because it's a legal record you both relied on. Blocking only stops new dealings and contact. You can unblock someone at any time.
4. How we moderate
urCircl is a record-keeping tool, not a party to your agreements. When content is reported, we review it and may remove it or act on the account. Because a conversation attached to an agreement can be part of the signed record, we review message reports rather than letting one side delete the shared record on their own. We remove content created through fraud or manipulation.
