Delete your urCircl account
Applies to the urCircl app, operated by Raqs Enterprise LLC (dba urCircl).
You can permanently delete your urCircl account and its associated personal data. There are two ways to request deletion.
What happens to your agreements: deletion is always honored. Any open loans, pools or item agreements stay in force and the other person keeps their signed copy — deleting your account does not cancel what you owe or are owed. urCircl retains those signed records for the counterparty (and the proof of who signed) under the retention periods in the Privacy Policy; everything else personal to you is removed.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
Open urCircl → Profile / Account Settings → Delete account, and confirm. Your account and personal data are removed right away; any open agreements stay in force for the other party, as described above.
Option 2 — By email
Email support@urcircl.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We verify ownership and process the deletion, typically within 7 days and no later than 30 days.
What is deleted
Your personal account data is permanently removed: your name, email address, phone number, profile, Track Record, notification history, and any photos you uploaded. Identity-verification images (if you completed optional ID verification) are handled by our verification provider and are never stored by urCircl.
What is kept, and why
A signed agreement is a shared record between the two people who signed it — each party holds their own copy. After you delete your account, agreements you signed remain valid records for the other party (they are records between people, not dependent on your account), but your personal identifiers are removed from urCircl. We may retain a limited amount of data where required to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations, for the period required by law, after which it is deleted.
